😀 Today’s Smile
In honor of Mother’s Day coming up in the US this weekend:
If you’re a mama celebrating this weekend, wishing you the VERY BEST day! I hope you feel lots of love and appreciation for all that you do.
💭 Today’s Thought
Courtesy of Nick Ortner, I’m sharing some loving reminders, in case you need to hear any of these today. 💜
You are free to breathe and just be, right here and right now.
How you feel right now will not be how you feel forever. This is just a small moment in a much bigger story.
You are not a failure, even if things aren’t all going right and you don’t get it all perfectly.
You have not missed out on what was meant for you. There is so much more beauty to come even if you can’t predict it.
It is okay if it takes time. You are safe to trust the process and allow things to unfold at their own pace.
You have done hard things in the past, and you can do them again.
You have permission to do whatever you need to do to nurture yourself today.
What you do today is enough. You are doing a great job.
You are whole and worthy, exactly as you are right here in this moment.
You are not alone, and you are so, so loved.
If any of these resonated, consider jotting them down and keeping the words somewhere where you easily see them throughout the day.
🖊️ Today’s Reflection
If you’re new to journaling, I highly encourage you to read Nancy Adler’s article: Want to be an outstanding leader? Keep a journal.
This week, find a quiet place and gift yourself 10 minutes to reflect on any of these prompts (or invent your own!):
What would you do if money wasn’t a concern and you knew you couldn’t fail?
What are you tolerating?
📚 Today’s Read
There are SO many systems out there for managing the flow of information coming at you daily. How can you best achieve that shifty balance of being informed without feeling overwhelmed, or like you wasted your time? 😅
This article details just one of those systems, and like all of the others, parts of it may resonate with you and parts of it won’t. Check it out, and consider: is there anything you’d like to experiment with?
See you next week!

Anne
