💭 Today’s Thought
Re-framing confidence
Myth: I need to have confidence in order to start.
Re-frame: I need to start in order to have confidence.
What are you holding back on starting or going after, because you don’t feel confident?
Go after it anyway. ;)
🖊️ Today’s reflection
If you’re new to journaling, I highly encourage you to read Nancy Adler’s article: Want to be an outstanding leader? Keep a journal.
This week, find a quiet place and gift yourself 10 minutes to reflect on any of these prompts (or invent your own!):
What are you holding back on starting, because you don’t feel confident?
Where in your life and work do you have confidence? Where did that confidence come from?
What is “confidence”? And what is it to “be confident”?
📚 Today’s Read
When navigating change at a personal or organizational level, many leaders fail to ask (and answer) these three questions (#3 is especially overlooked!). But they can make all the difference in the world in helping a group successfully work through a change and come out stronger on the other end.
See you next week!
